You and your young toddler

(1 year olds to early 2 year olds)-

Level 1.

Level 1 classes provide toddlers with a stimulating setting to explore their new movement and language skills with a sense of security, comfort, and confidence. As your high-energy toddler moves, laughs, and plays throughout a Kindermusik class, many other important things are happening in their brains and bodies. Toddlers learn to focus and practice self-control, to listen and play with language, to notice and accept routines, and to enjoy calm, relaxing moments along with fun, playful experiences. You learn how to engage with your child in a deep and meaningful way while in the company of new found friends.

You and your older toddler

(2 year olds to 3 1/2 year olds)-

Level 2.

Level 2 classes encourage older toddlers to initiate their own ideas, nurturing social-emotional growth and cognitive development in a playful, exploratory environment. Vocal play activities such as call and response teach musical skills as well as expressive language development, instrument exploration, more advanced movements, and learning to take turns help your older toddler build important pre-school skills. You learn how to support their learnings (and yes even their tantrums) with tools for your parenting tool belt.

Your preschooler

(3 1/2 year olds to 5 year olds)-

Level 3.

Level 3 classes are designed to engage preschoolers’ natural love of music and activate their imaginations, while developing their growing language and social-emotional skills. Skills learned in this class focus on musicianship and working cooperatively in a group for movement and instrument ensembles. It is the perfect introduction or complement to your child’s preschool education in an intimate class setting where your child will receive individual attention in a nurturing environment.

Mixed Ages/Full Family

Mixed Ages classes are a great way to get your whole family involved in Kindermusik at the same time! Mixed ages classes are good for families with multiple children or families who have a single child who enjoys engaging with children of all ages. What people are saying about Kindermusik at the Lakes.

“Jeremiah really picked up on a couple new songs at kindermusik that are now part of the bedtime song rotation! Watching Jeremiah's excitement when we would tell him it was a kindermusik day was priceless!”

— Kindermusik at the Lakes Parent

“We definitely made some new friends and that was super happy. We learned a lot about how to guide exploration and body movement. Plus songs that get stuck in our heads for days (but they're fun so we don't mind).”

— Kindermusik at the Lakes parent

“As a full-time working parent, its a great activity one night a week, with fun for kids and educational purpose (for kids & parents) at the same time.”
